Senior Python Data Engineer
Our partner is one of the world's leading IT services companies, supporting its customers' business, operational and technology models. Due to expansion, the company is now offering an exciting new opportunity for a candidate with IT experience in the following role:
Senior Python Data Engineer
Expectations:
- -5-7 years of Data Engineering experience.
- -Writing efficient and maintainable code in Python language.
- -Building and overseeing scalable data pipelines using DataBricks.
- -Comprehensive knowledge of ELT principles.
- -Experience in Cloud Services.
- -Hands-on experience in using cloud-based data storage solutions, especially Snowflake.
- -Linux experience.
- -Precise attention to detail and a dedication to problem-solving.
- -Understanding of data warehousing, data modelling concepts and data integration.
- -Writing solid SQL queries.
- -Knowledge of REST APIs and other integration techniques.
Nice to have:
- -Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries (e.g. Power BI).
- -Knowledge of data organization tools such as Apache Airflow.
- -Database administration or performance tuning background.
- -Previous experience with big data technologies for big data processing (e.g. Hadoop, Spark).
