Senior Application Support / DevOps Engineer
Your Qualifications:
- -A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Application Support or DevOps roles.
- -Strong understanding of object-oriented languages, including OOAD and design patterns.
- -Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or SOAP/REST.
- -Familiarity with IoT.
- -Proficiency with version control systems such as GIT.
- -Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- -In-depth knowledge of application architecture.
- -Understanding of DevOps tools, processes, and practices.
- -Extensive familiarity with the Corporate Workplace Technology space.
Key Responsibilities:
- -Integral part of the application production support team, ensuring global coverage through a follow the sun model.
- -Facilitate application access for business stakeholders and users.
- -Sustain application availability and monitoring while delivering timely and effective application support.
- -Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, pinpoint root causes, and implement bug fixes where applicable.
- -Identify issues and potential risks promptly, striving to resolve them within agreed-upon timelines.
- -Collaborate seamlessly with multiple teams and vendors to ensure prompt issue resolution.
- -Maintain an efficient issue tracker and generate insightful reports.
