Senior Data Engineer with Python
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data pipelines and systems for our Smart Buildings IoT platform. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in data engineering, application development, and a strong understanding of Secure IoT principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- -Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and systems for the Smart Buildings IoT platform, as well as existing building management solutions.
- -Engaging in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, subject matter experts, and key decision-makers to elicit requirements and define data pipelines and systems.
- -Gathering, analyzing, and deriving insights from diverse data sources such as Fault Detection Diagnostics, Indoor Air Quality metrics, People Counting data, and Occupancy Analytics.
- -Fine-tuning and precisely documenting the technical intricacies of data solutions pertinent to Smart Buildings, IoT applications, and Operational Technology (OT) domains.
- -Proactively troubleshooting problems, identifying bugs, and implementing timely solutions to ensure smooth operation of data pipelines and systems.
- -Coordinating efforts with Solution Architects, Systems Analysts, and Business Analysts to craft and deploy scalable and streamlined data solutions.
Qualifications:
- -5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data pipeline development and application development.
- -Proficiency in version control systems such as GIT.
- -Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- -Extensive experience with Secure IoT principles and practices.
- -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- -Technical expertise in data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- -Familiarity with DevOps processes and practices.
- -Solid understanding of object-oriented languages and paradigms.
