Responsibilities:



  • -Oversee all procurement transactions for program and discrete item replenishment, ensuring alignment with strategic sourcing initiatives and contract pricing.

  • -Manage high-value purchasing decisions at service centers, including issuing orders, handling stock transfers, and resolving supplier issues.

  • -Assess procurement workload, allocate tasks, and collaborate with the Service Center Manager and Program Management team to meet sales forecasts and margin targets.

  • -Supervise new business implementation, maintain replenishment system accuracy, and support the procurement team in achieving fill rates for stocked items.

  • -Monitor supplier on-time delivery, manage obsolete inventory, analyze data for future needs, and ensure inventory turnover targets are met.

  • -Support transportation operations, select cost-effective transport modes, and commit to environmental and safety regulations.


Requirements:



  • -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • -Preferred 3-5 years of professional experience in purchasing/buying.

  • -Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex formulas (such as v-lookup and if/then statements) and build pivot tables.

  • -Effective communication skills with peers and service center personnel.

  • -Strong mathematical skills.

  • -Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hungarian.

  • -Strong collaboration and negotiation skills with service center staff and suppliers to manage supply chain, stocking levels, and material acquisition costs.

  • -Proven ability to delegate tasks, manage team performance, and prioritize and organize efficiently.

  • -Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.
