Senior Data Engineer
Our partner assists clients in navigating the intricate landscape of financial institutions. By actively listening to customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored investment recommendations, they ensure the clients make informed and suitable investment choices. They are looking for a dedicated professional candidate to help build a top-tier engineering team, demonstrating autonomy, end-to-end ownership, and flexibility while working closely with the tech and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve existing data pipelines, including troubleshooting web scraping scripts and extracting specific data points
- Collaborate with translation providers for content in 45 languages, improving translation quality
- Enhance the quality and accuracy of LLM responses to user questions
- Build, monitor, maintain, and improve our RAG data pipeline using LLM tools
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Data and Software Engineering
- Skilled in building, maintaining, and deploying production-ready data pipelines
- Business-focused mindset, comfortable with large data sets, and able to draw independent conclusions
- English proficiency
- Takes full ownership of projects, driving planning, implementation, and progress updates independently
- Motivated and ambitious, proactive with improvement ideas
- Nice to have: Familiarity with tools/platforms like Google Cloud, BigQuery, Metabase, OpenAI API, Anthropic, LLMs
