Are you a detail-oriented and technically savvy QA Engineer ready to make a real impact in a rapidly expanding fintech company?
Our partner is a fast-growing global fintech, delivering innovative trading solutions across the world and building a brand-new technical hub in Hungary to shape the future of their digital platforms.
As a QA Engineer you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our partner’s core software solutions. You’ll be a part of their web development team in Hungary, reporting to the Engineering Team Lead or Experience Assurance Manager.
Your Impact:
- Ensure software excellence through comprehensive quality assurance practices.
- Develop and maintain reliable and scalable testing processes.
- Own and contribute to the QA strategy, including test planning and design.
- Drive continuous testing practices and rapid feedback loops within the team.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality software.
- Support test automation and modern QA methodologies.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and team discussions.
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years of quality assurance experience.
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, Agile Testing, and testing tools.
- Experience in web and mobile testing based on user journeys and design specs.
- Background in testing CMS systems and websites built on those platforms.
- Familiarity with Continuous Delivery practices.
- Understanding of modern testing approaches (e.g. TDD, BDD, mocking) or eagerness to learn.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluent spoken English and comfort working in a global, remote-first team environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to make quick, high-quality decisions.
Nice to have:
- Experience with automated tests for NodeJS / Next.js applications.
- Knowledge of E2E or component testing using Playwright.
