Senior Data Engineer

Your responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain data models that serve reporting and analytical requirements.
Build and orchestrate data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes within Azure Databricks using PySpark and SQL.
Develop, refine, and enhance dashboards and semantic layers in Power BI.
Write optimized SQL queries to perform data cleansing, transformation, and analysis.
Safeguard data accuracy, consistency, and security across the analytics environment.
Produce technical documentation, process workflows, and data dictionaries to ensure long-term maintainability.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical BI and data solutions.

 

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Strong SQL knowledge
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
Experience with data visualization and reporting using Power BI
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advantage: knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
Fluent in English
