Solution Architect – AWS & AI
We are searching for a Solution Architect for our international technology partner. The role combines client-facing consulting with hands-on technical expertise. You will help clients shape their ideas into practical solutions and work with engineering teams to guide the technical design and delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to understand their goals, shape product ideas and define suitable technical solutions.
- Assess existing systems, codebases and security considerations, then recommend improvements and architecture.
- Design solutions across cloud, software and AI, working closely with the partner’s engineering teams during implementation.
- Apply your hands-on technical knowledge and guide engineers through design decisions and delivery.
- Coordinate projects independently, manage your time and priorities, and keep several workstreams moving at once.
- Explain technical options clearly to clients and internal teams, connecting business needs with the right technical approach.
- Support technical discussions with AWS specialists and other stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- Solid experience in solution architecture, software engineering or a closely related technical role.
- Strong, hands-on AWS experience in production environments is essential, including core AWS services, cloud networking, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containers and CI/CD.
- Experience developing AI/LLM applications.
- Practical technical understanding and the ability to assess solutions at code and architecture level.
- Experience advising clients, gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical designs.
- A self-sufficient working style, with the ability to plan and manage your own projects, time and priorities.
- Confident communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to different audiences.
- A product and customer mindset, with the curiosity to understand what clients are trying to achieve.
Advantage
- Familiarity with AWS funding programmes, such as MAP, IW and POC.
- Experience owning Statements of Work (SOWs) or presales activities.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
- Experience with other cloud platforms, particularly in the context of migrations.
